Our team had the privilege of contributing to the WomX Woman In Business Accelerator Programme, an impactful initiative hosted by YiEDI (Pty) Ltd and proudly sponsored by Nedbank.
As part of this vital programme, STARK Consulting Services was entrusted with designing and facilitating the critical Business Financial Management module. This module equipped participating women entrepreneurs with the essential financial literacy and strategic insights needed to not only manage their current operations effectively but also to drive sustainable growth and resilience in their ventures.
During the sessions, we delved into key areas such as:
- Business Structures and Compliance – Understanding the various business structures in South Africa and the relevant compliance obligations.
- Understanding Financial Statements – Demystifying the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management – Strategies for optimising cash flow, managing working capital, and ensuring liquidity.
Our objective was to empower these dynamic women to take full control of their financial destinies, transforming complex financial concepts into actionable strategies. It was inspiring to witness their dedication and enthusiasm, and we are confident that the knowledge shared will be instrumental in their entrepreneurial journeys.
